wrong results

So, I have my 40,000 books indexed in Dropout. If I search for the word "restless" I get lots and lots of hits, and sure enough the word is in the doc found (at least the first 20 or so I checked. I then type in "restless identities" and get lots of hits. But that combination of words is nowhere to be found in the documents. I then put the words in parens, and get 0 hits. I type

restless+identities

and get zero hits.

Please explain why this isn't working. Thanks!

It uses the Lucene indexing/search algorithm for more info you can look here:
